A Complete and Fulfilling Recreational Experience No tennis courts. No swimming pool. Clearwater Country Club is a golf experience born from a love of the grand old game of golf and a desire for the genuine company of good-natured people. Many types of people easily come together here; new members are assimilated quickly. Who knows why; maybe there's something in the water … or maybe it's the common love of traditional golf that is our common bond.
This 6,400-yard course
features rolling fairways, dramatic elevation changes, towering oaks festooned
with Spanish moss, natural lakes … and some 48 bunkers. Yet golfers of all skill
levels can traverse Clearwater and walk off with a dignified score.
Clearwater's enjoyable 18 holes were designed by Herbert Strong and built in 1920. Our parkland-style golf course is always in great shape. Stevenson Creek meanders through the property and comes into play on six holes. Four sets of tees are available, offering an enjoyable test for golfers of every skill level. The practice facilities here offer you the opportunity to hit every shot you'll encounter on the course – and under the same championship-caliber grass conditions. A new, 20,000 square foot clubhouse was opened in 2000, acting as the host/hub of all Clearwater activity — from friendly card games to elegant wedding receptions. Snowbirds take note: Clearwater offers the area's only seasonal and short-season memberships with exclusive privileges like 7-day advance tee times. |
