Clearwater Country Club is a beautiful, semi-private, 18-hole golf course. Built in 1920 by the renowned golf architect, Herbert Strong, our course is conveniently located in downtown Clearwater, minutes from Clearwater Beach and twenty-five minutes from Tampa International Airport.

Practice is the key element to mastering any skill and at Clearwater Country Club we have all the shots you need to master the game of golf. We offer driving range, a short game area and large putting green.

Get warmed up with a bucket of balls on our driving range. Don't second-guess the speed of the green when you're lining up a birdie putt – make a few puts on our putting green before hitting the course.

Clearwater Country Club is one of the few golf courses in the area that allows walking. Walking is often advertised as a very valuable exercise that provides aerobic workout benefits. Walking can reduce levels of bad cholesterol and help to maintain good cholesterol levels. Golf Science International researcher Gi Magnusson states, "That four hours of playing golf while walking is comparable to a 45-minute fitness class."

Walking is available at no additional charge, anytime, for any full golfing member. For all other golfing members or non-golfers, walking is available for a nominal daily fee after 2:00 p.m.

• Pro shop hours: 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Driving range hours: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
