Rules

1.      Format:  On Par 4 holes - Boy & girl both tee off, and then alternate shots, hitting each other’s ball.  The ball in the best position is then chosen and play is continued with only that ball, alternating shots, until the ball is holed out.  On Par 3 holes - Boy & girl both tee off.  The ball in the best position is then chosen and play is continued with only that ball, alternating shots, until the ball is hole out.  On Par 5 holes - Boy & girl both tee off and then alternate shots twice.  The ball in the best position is then chosen and play is continued with only that ball, alternating shots, until the ball is holed out. 

2.       Team Handicap = 1/2 combined; gross and net prizes.

3.       U.S.G.A. Rules in effect as modified by local rules; Play the Ball Down.

4.       In penalty situations, if partner A hits OB, lost ball, water hazard, etc., the appropriate penalty under the Rules of Golf is applied and partner B plays the next shot.

5.      All men play from the white tee markers; all ladies play from the red tee markers; exception:  gold tee players may play from the gold tees.

6.      Before starting, please exchange scorecards with the other couple in your foursome.  Turn in your own signed and attested scorecards to the pro shop upon completion of play.
