Florida draws vacationers and transplants from all around the world. Two of the biggest draws are our beaches and our year-round golf. Here at Clearwater Country Club, you can practically enjoy both at the same time! Our course features some 48 bunkers – but that doesn't mean it's a tough course to play. Golfers of all skill levels can traverse Clearwater, avoiding our little “beaches” and walk off with a dignified score. Then, when you're ready to enjoy the real beaches, miles of pristine sands are just scant minutes away! Clearwater's enjoyable 18 holes were designed by Herbert Strong and built in 1920. Our parkland-style golf course is always in great shape. Stevenson Creek meanders through the property and comes into play on six holes. Numerous live oak, as well as long-leaf and slash pine trees add to the beauty and challenge of the layout. Four sets of tees are available, offering an enjoyable test for golfers of every skill level.… and then there are those 48 bunkers! Our new, 20,000 square foot clubhouse was opened in 2000, acting as the host/hub of all Clearwater activity — from friendly card games to elegant wedding receptions.
